When you upload artwork, our AI analyzes the image to create a depth map — a grayscale representation of which elements are closest to the viewer and which are furthest away. For a landscape painting, the AI identifies the sky as the furthest layer, mountains as mid-ground, and foreground elements like trees or rocks as the nearest layer. This depth information drives the parallax animation effect, where closer objects move more than distant ones, creating a convincing 3D illusion from a flat 2D image.
Motion Synthesis
For motion loops, the AI generates natural movement patterns based on the content it detects in your artwork. Water flows, clouds drift, leaves sway, and flames flicker — all driven by content-aware motion models. The key technical challenge is creating seamless loops where the last frame transitions perfectly back to the first, which our models handle through temporal consistency training. The result is an animation that can play indefinitely without visible jumps or stuttering.
Output Formats and Quality
Animations export as MP4 (H.264 codec, widely compatible) or GIF (for social media and web embeds). MP4 exports support up to 4K resolution at 60 frames per second on Professional and Studio plans. GIF exports are optimized for file size while maintaining visual quality. How long are the generated animations?
Depth animations and motion loops are typically 3-10 seconds long and designed to loop seamlessly. Character animations can run up to 30 seconds. You can adjust the duration, speed, and intensity of the animation before exporting.
